Academics - Foreword

The cornerstone of any school programme has to be its academic performance. Weston College is no exception; the on-going need to better our academic delivery to our learners must remain our first priority.Weston boys are in an advantageous position in that there is a meshing between the formal academic and the hands-on practical section on the farm. Not only does this allow for the transfer of knowledge from Agricultural Science, but it also gives the staff another opportunity to interact with the boys in a more informal setting.

Whilst we offer similar subject packages to most other high schools the small classes and the Biology- driven Animal Science and Chemistry -based Agricultural Management Practise, has empowered our boys to fit into and be more marketable in an ever-changing environment.

Weston will strive to bring out the best in each boy. To this end it is imperative that we the school, parents and learners work closely together to realise individual potential.
